A Typical Day
Just a typical day of recording at Cedar AV headquarters. Keep an ear low for that deep purr-bass on our forthcoming record. (Really, it is forthcoming, we promise.)

Nick and I were able to meet up yesterday after he played a killer show with Headlights - there was much talk of our new record and general tomfoolery. We’re really excited about how things are shaping up. More news on that front soon - as the three of us put the finishing touches on this as-yet-unnamed record, it’s beginning to feel like a real boy!
we’re finally putting the finishing touches on our still-untitled lp. we are so close to done. promise. we’ve all been really busy lately: nate is putting together an amazing new live setup, i’m going back out on the road with headlights for a little while, and erik is preparing for his june emmigration to brooklyn. even so, we’ll be done quite soon. we’re really excited.
Hey folks - this isn’t exactly Cedar AV related, but hopefully still of interest!
I just uploaded episode number three in my series of podcasts leading up to the release of my record in June on Audiobulb Records.
Here’s this week’s tracklist, again with forgettable notes:
30 Minutes, 40 megabytes. Enjoy!
Hi All! I’ll be heading out on a short east coast tour with my good friend 8bit bEtty to support the release of my new record Middlemarch. It drops at the end of June on Audiobulb Records. I’ve got a list of dates on my website and below. If you’re in the area, please come and say hi!
As y’all may or may not know, we’re finishing up a record right now. I had the privilege of being back in Milwaukee for a few days and so we decided this would be a great time to get a little recording for lullaby done.
Nick’s on tour right now (go see him play with Headlights if you can!) but he was with us in the ghostly form of his Rhodes piano. Don’t worry nick, we treated it right! Above you can watch as our crack team of audio wizards answer such questions as “is it plugged in?” and “can you hear it now?”
We did manage to get a good signal and I’m really happy with how it all turned out. Nothing like a glimmering direct Rhodes recording to brighten your day.
